About Me

My name is Emma Arron and welcome to Inner Vision Therapeutic Play, a provision for children experiencing emotional, behavioural or mental health difficulties.

Since 1998, when I started working with children in a primary school, I have always enjoyed supporting children’s learning and development and undertook a Degree in Early Learning to better understand how children learn and the factors that impact on their development.

The longer I worked in education, the more I became aware of the increase in the numbers of children needing support, particularly with their emotional and mental health. In 2019, I began training and working as a Therapeutic Play Practitioner, qualifying in May 2021 through the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy, accredited by Play Therapy UK.  To broaden my skills, I continued my training with the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy and in August 2023 qualified as a Play Therapist. I am on the Register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

As a member of Play Therapy UK, I am bound by its Ethical Framework and standards for safe and effective practice,  as well as being subject to its professional conduct procedures.  I have an Enhanced DBS Certificate and Professional Liabilities and Data Protection Insurances.

I believe that if children are to thrive and achieve their full potential, support for their emotional and mental well-being is vital; this is where Play Therapy can help.  If you have a child you feel would benefit from Play Therapy, please get in touch and I would be happy to discuss how I can help.
